Warranty Policy

Applies To: All customers and businesses clients of PROTEK Auto Parts
1. Warranty Coverage
1.1 Remanufactured Products and Parts
Protek Auto Parts warrants Protetek brand’s remanufactured products and parts against manufacturing defects for a period of one (1) years (12 months) or 20,000 kilometers, whichever occurs first, commencing from the date of purchase. The original purchase invoice must be presented for warranty claims.
1.2 Brand-New Aftermarket Products and Parts
A warranty of two (2) years (24 months) or 40,000 kilometers, whichever occurs first, is provided on Protek brand’s -new aftermarket products and parts. Coverage begins from the date of purchase and requires presentation of the original invoice.
1.3 Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) Products and Parts
OEM products and parts carry a standard warranty of one (1) year (12 months), unless otherwise specified by the OEM manufacturer. Warranty coverage starts from the date of purchase, with the original invoice necessary for any claims.
1.4 Aftermarket Brand Products and Parts
Warranty coverage for aftermarket brand products and parts may vary depending on the manufacturer. It is the responsibility of the customer or purchaser to review the specific warranty terms provided by the respective brand, either by visiting the manufacturer’s official website or by consulting with a Protek Auto Parts advisor prior to purchase.
2. Warranty Exclusions
- Protek Auto Parts does not provide warranty coverage for electrical or moving components under any circumstances. Installation and handling of these parts are the sole responsibility of certified professionals.
- All warranties issued are non-transferable and extend exclusively to the original purchaser upon presentation of the original invoice.
- Warranty coverage applies strictly to manufacturer defects defined as defective materials or workmanship.
- Warranty claims are voided in cases of:
- Misuse or abuse
- Modifications or alterations
- Incorrect installation
- Overloading
- Negligence
- Accidents or external damage
3. Warranty Claims Procedure
3.1 For Protek Brand
- To initiate a warranty claim, the customer must return the product at their own expense, accompanied by the original purchase invoice and documented mileage/kilometers at installation and removal.
- Upon receipt, Protek Auto Parts will conduct a thorough inspection to determine eligibility under this warranty.
- Products confirmed as defective due to manufacturing faults will be repaired or replaced at no additional cost, including shipping fees (will be compared to our shipping partners and paid that amount only) .
- Claims submitted without the original invoice will be processed at the sole discretion of Protek Auto Parts.
- For the parts and products other than Protek brand, will have to follow manufacturer’s warranty policy.
3.2 For Other Manufacturer/Brand
- For all parts and products not manufactured under the Protek brand, the applicable warranty coverage shall be provided solely in accordance with the original manufacturer’s warranty policy. Protek does not assume responsibility for these warranties.
- However, as a service to our customers, Protek will assist in facilitating the warranty claim process with the respective manufacturer. While Protek’s role is limited to acting as an intermediary, we are committed to advocating on behalf of our customers to help ensure a smooth and fair resolution.
4. Additional Terms
- Protek Auto Parts assumes no liability for towing, labor, downtime, loss of use, inconvenience, or incidental damages related to product failure or warranty claims.
- Protek Auto Parts only reserve rights to approve the warranty claim.
